Welcome to the Groupsite for Quantitative Environmental Finance
The emergence of markets for carbon-dioxide emissions, signalled by the European Union's launch of an emission-trading scheme in 2005, has had a knock-on effect for executive education courses on anticipated trade.
This site attempts to create a "network", helping to connect academia to the industrial and financial world. Quantitative Environmental Finance (QEF) offers a platform where members can share knowledge and discuss analytical tools for investigating the economic, financial and managerial impacts of market-based environmental policies such as the European Emission Trading Scheme and the Kyoto protocol.
Via Discussion Forums, industrial representatives could suggest current issues in the emission markets which need to be deeply investigated. Meanwhile, scholars should look for the analytical skills needed to begin working professionally in the environmental finance industry, banks, brokerage and in related governmental organizations.
Via the Carbon Career section, QEF tries to fill the increasing demand for graduate and post-graduate level positions.
Via Files & Media, members can share articles, papers, technical reports, case studies, data and other related documents.
Furthermore, QEF provides members with a shared calendar and member profiles.

Please repeat each post you intend to advertise and keep it as simple and unformatted as possible but without omitting to specify all necessary details (place/es and country/ies of duty station, contacts with all prefixes, or similar). Please tolerate with the technical needs of the network server and only send in attached files if you cannot provide any link for your vacancy announcement, and kindly remember that it is NOT possible to accept any attachment file weighing more than 55K.
